Best Sour Cherry Nutty Protein Flapjacks

Best Sour Cherry Nutty Protein Flapjacks ( 9 squares)
 

Quick, easy and very quick protein and healthy fats filled snack. Can be done in one bowl and takes just 10 minutes to bake. Sweet peanut butter flapjack contrasts beautifully with sour cherries. Perfect post workout snack or just wholesome tummy filler on the go.

INGREDIENTS
130g gluten free oats
70g Peanut Flavour PbiSports Iso HD
60g dried sour cherries (you can use cranberries too)
1tbsp ground flax meal
Pinch of fine sea salt

1medium very ripe banana (around 100g)
2tbsp calorie free maple syrup
90g Meridian smooth Peanut buter
100g Alpro unsweetened  almond milk

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 190’C and line 20x20cm square tin with non stick parchment paper.

Now, in the medium size bowl mix together oats, Isolate, salt, berries and flax meal.

In another medium bowl using a fork mash ripe banana. Add the nut butter and sweetener syrup, mix well. Now add milk and give it another mix until well combined.

Pout the wet mix in the dry ingredients and stir well using a spoon.  Pour protein mix in to the prepared tin and evenly spread.

Pop the tin in the preheated oven and bake your flapjacks no more than for 10min as they will get try.

70g per flapjack
